Influencers will have to deliver more substance (knowledge, creativity, new perspectives --> immaterial values) in order to thrive. Visuals alone will not succeed anymore.
Christianity is becoming more popular again in Europe. A (re-)entry into the traditional institutions (Catholic or Reformed Church) is unlikely; the rise of independent churches and free churches (as in the US) is more likely.
Authenticity will receive more attention. Some will even portray themselves as uglier than they really are or flaunt their imperfections in order to appear more authentic.
In general, self-analysis is taking center stage. While previously the focus was primarily on earlier/formative experiences (parents, society, experiences of abuse and violence), now the analysis of the current psyche is moving to the forefront.
Repurposing with a twist. Sport types being revived in a different form. Old jewellery worn in a different way. Traditional dish recipes being changed. Discovering your own city in a new/different way. Study diplomas being applied cross-thematically (e.g. getting a job in investment banking with a geography diploma).
Companies will deliberately create dead zones, essentially war rooms without network coverage. These rooms will be used specifically for certain tasks, allowing human capital to be concentrated on the task at hand. In a further step, the results of these "dead zone" sessions will even become part of the product portfolio.
Reels of completely ordinary activities will trend. People will film themselves doing ordinary everyday things (without voiceover, background music, etc.) and post them. Videos of a family eating dinner, someone weeding their garden, brushing their teeth, etc.
Fruity fruits. The Asian trend of super fruits will arrive in the western world. Competition around finding the best strawberry, eating the best melon. I'd go so far as to predict that people will even photoshop their fruits in social media in order to make their fruits look frutier and the colors juicier. Becomes a status symbol.
Some kind of a shock regarding a yacht is coming. The circumstances around the ownership and guests will be shocking (who owns the yacht and who's their guest atl).
